About the Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for On Call Stills and Fashion Stylist to join our Advertising Production team.  This individual will work closely with our Styling Team and Studio staff to maintain the quality creation of still and fashion imagery and associated styling processes and guidelines across brands and disciplines. This role’s primary focus is in support of Ecom photography. 

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with photographer, merchandise coordinators, and styling team to prioritize requests, facilitate planning ensure visual consistency, styling quality, efficiency in daily shot counts
  • Receive and organize product to maintain an efficient production workflow for Ecom production and Seasonal Editorial project work as needed
  • Communicate processes, standards and potentially oversee the work of freelance and on-call stylist assistants, tailors and/or product preppers
  • Partner with FTE Fashion Stylists on castings and fitting; Provide tailoring direction and on set styling, ensuring proper fit per brand
  • Prioritize based on capacity, deadlines and competing priorities

Skills & Experience

  • College degree or equivalent relevant to the styling industry
  • 7+ years of experience working as a professional stylist
  • Retail industry experience in apparel/fashion or related field; men’s experience a plus
  • A portfolio of relevant work based around studio-based styling including eCommerce, editorial, still life, or similar
  • Excellent aesthetic judgment, including but not limited to composition and color, proficient in apparel construction and material
  • Hands on experience working in a Mac environment; Creative Suite a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload to adhere to product calendar deadlines and handle high production demands
  • Partners cross functionally, builds strong relationships with diverse groups of people
  • Ability to educate/communicate advanced styling concepts to teammates and colleagues
  • High level of initiative, able to execute independently with minimal direction and works well in a team environment
  • Outstanding follow up, detail-oriented, strong organizational abilities
  • Thrive in a high-volume collaborative environment, fast paced and feedback driven
  • Sophisticated creative and technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities
  • Solid written and verbal skills
  • Ability to lift at least 40 pounds

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
  • On call hours, as work dictates, from the Berkeley California location and then from Dublin California location.

$85.00 - $93.75 per hour.  We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
