About the Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Front End Web Developer to join our eCommerce team.  This individual is self-motivated and experienced in web technologies and has the ability to execute business goals efficiently.

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

  • Develop responsive page layouts with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for regular site refreshes. 
  • Upload, schedule, and maintain code in enterprise CMS platform.
  • Author semantic code that is ADA compliant and applies SEO best practices where applicable.
  • Support ongoing content updates, bug fixes, and enhancements to our NodeJs-powered code authoring tools.
  • Utilize Figma and Sketch to slice/optimize/export/publish digital assets with ‘pixel-perfect’ attention to detail and exercising intuitive naming conventions.
  • Proactively identify process inefficiencies and evolve accordingly.

What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Web Development or related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience working as Web or Email Developer (ecommerce industry preferred).
  • Experience with standard web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery.
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop and/or Sketch for file export/optimization.
  • Self-motivated to keep projects moving towards completion.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication techniques.
  • Experience using NodeJS, gulp/grunt, task-runners a plus.

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, in a hybrid work arrangement from our Dublin California office or a remote location.

The starting salary for this position is $89,000 – $95,000 and may increase to $117,000 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary.  Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
